About Ray

Ray has been passionate about skiing his entire life. Growing up in New Jersey, he spent countless afternoons skiing at Campgaw Mountain and weekends conquering the slopes at Belleayre Mountain in New York. Occasionally, he’d join his sister for thrilling ski trips to Colorado.

 

When it came time for college, Ray knew Colorado was the place to be. After graduation, he moved to Winter Park, where he became a ski instructor. His dedication and skills earned him a Level 3 Certification, along with Children and Freestyle Accreditations.

 

In Winter Park, Ray met his now-wife Stef, and their shared love for skiing deepened with every adventure. Together, they enjoy skiing in Winter Park, backcountry skiing in Rocky Mountain National Park and Cameron Pass, and cross-country skiing with their beloved dog, Eddy.

 

For the past four years, Ray has been running Ray's River Rentals in Lyons. He prides himself on providing high-quality equipment and offering a personalized, convenient rental experience. His approach ensures that every customer has a fantastic time exploring the great outdoors.
